Trubyville Roving Reporter

Before dismissal we found out what parts we got! I just wanted to say congratulations Emma (Emma is the Cat in the Hat)!
Today our morning work was Valentine Lines. We had to compare, subtract ,add ,and answer yes or no questions.I think that was a very easy worksheet. After that we pinned hats and Mrs. Truby sewed them on her sewing machine.The hats are very soft,creative,and for the celebration we are having for the Olympics. Then we got to make our valentine boxes. My box was dripping so I put more paper on it but now it looks like astronaut! One of the things we are doing this week is making notes for all the people in the class, we have to say something other people might not notice about them in it.
While we were walking to music most of us had our hat on that Ms. Truby made us. So while we were in music Mr. Dary talked to us about the play and we asked questions .After music we go to P.E. This week its fitness week! So we did laps around the gym. We also did sit ups. I personally dont like fitness week because we have to do the 12 minute run.After that we read yesterday's Trubyville Roving Reporter by Dylan.I think Dylan's report summed up everything we did that day. We did Riley's then Colin's PowerPoint presentations. Then we ate lunch, for lunch we had beef tips with a side of mashed potatoes. My opinion is that the lunch was very good.
After that the thing I was waiting for happened it was time to go to the middle school orientation! First we went in to the lunch room and the teachers introduced them selves. The music teacher talked about the music program and the art teacher talked about the art program. Then we went to each of their classrooms. I liked when we went into Ms. Barrett’s room and got to play a mummy game on her smart board. Then we returned to the lunch room. Then two people talk about there sports and after school programs. After that we walked back down to the lower school. Then we did agenda, but Gt and I had to go take down the flag .It was so cold and we were trying to go as fast as we could! After agenda we packed up and waited in the gym,went to Panther Care, or Walkers and Bikers.
